The same recipe twice is not the same shopping list once
Repeated choices should remain separate occasions when quantities and downstream work depend on frequency.
If Tuesday and Friday both use the same recipe, a tidy interface may be tempted to merge them into one item. The grocery list will then confidently buy dinner for only one of those days. Very organized. Very hungry.
The recipe can share one definition, but each scheduled use is its own occasion. Portions, ingredients, and preparation counts need to accumulate for every appearance. Whenever a system turns plans into totals, deduplicating labels is not the same as deduplicating demand.
