Where should a surprising payment name be explained?

When the brand and legal payee names differ, one calm sentence at the payment moment may prevent unnecessary doubt.

A person registers with a familiar brand, opens their banking app, and sees a different legal entity waiting for the transfer. It may be completely legitimate, but it creates a tiny trust test at exactly the wrong moment.

The cleanest place to explain the difference seems to be close to the action: a short note near registration, then the full details in the confirmation message. Not the homepage, not every footer, and not buried after the payment fails. How much uncertainty could one well-placed sentence remove from your own checkout or booking flow?
