A comparison chart should not hide the next column
If periods wrap onto different rows or disappear below an inner scrollbar, the chart is fighting the comparison.
A chart can contain all the right monthly numbers and still make comparison annoying. In this case, automatic column sizing wrapped the final period onto another row, so seeing it meant scrolling inside the card. The data was available. The comparison was not.
For a modest number of periods, keep every column on one shared baseline and make the bars slimmer rather than letting the layout wrap. Horizontal scrolling is a reasonable narrow-screen fallback when history grows. Vertical hide-and-seek inside a chart is not.
