Structured message blocks may look complete, but many chat integrations still require fallback text for delivery and accessibility.
A beautifully structured chat message failed because its plain notification text was empty. The blocks contained everything a person needed, but the integration still expected a simple fallback sentence.
When sending rich messages, include both: a short plain-text summary and the structured layout. The fallback supports notifications, accessibility, previews, and apps that cannot render the fancy version. Think of it as the emergency exit sign—brief, boring, and surprisingly important.
